TSMC Arizona Semiconductor Fabrication Site
Propersys Corporation provided support for the construction of TSMC’s first advanced semiconductor manufacturing sites in the United States: from design to overseeing and managing the installation process of the pipelines. This project spans over 1,100 acres and includes six semiconductor wafer fabs, two advanced packaging facilities and an R&D team center. These facilities will provide critical technologies like AI, high-performance computing, and advanced mobile applications. It will be the most advanced semiconductor facility in the U.S., producing tens of thousands of semiconductor wafers per month.
Key Milestones:
- First Fab: High-volume production on N4 process technology started in Q4 2024.
- Second Fab: Construction was completed on the fab structure in 2025. Volume production on N3 process technology targeted for the second-half of 2027.
- Third Fab: In April 2025, TSMC broke ground on the site of the third fab, slated for N2 and A16 process technologies. Targeting volume production by the end of 2029.
Propersys also constructed the Gas Management Systems (GMS) and Gas Delivery Systems (GDS) within the TSMC Arizona semiconductor fabrication sites.
Propersys continues supporting TSMC Arizona with on-site technicians, engineers, and EHS personnel for their GMS and GDS systems, development, and monitoring.
